DFNHS has joined with 15 other organisations in presenting evidence to Parliament’s Health and Social Care Committee (HSCC) Inquiry into NHS leadership, performance and patient safety, in a bid to improve the way disciplinary procedures are carried out in hospitals. The Inquiry accepted the evidence to consider.

This marks an important step in changing the current system, which encourages vexatious and at times vilifying ‘disciplinaries’ and referrals to the GMC for completely inappropriate and often incorrect reasons.
DFNHS of course stands for the highest professional standards in the NHS. But the current system leaves a lot to be desired, and is ruining doctors’ lives.
